The She in She Connects
The Story
When I moved from Canada to California, I thought making friends would be the easy part.
Instead, I found myself surrounded by women who seemed to have it all together. Beautiful homes. Successful careers. Happy families. Full calendars. But as I got to know them, I realized so many were carrying the very same things I was — loneliness, insecurity, comparison, uncertainty, resentment, or simply the feeling that they’d lost a piece of themselves somewhere along the way.
The more conversations I had, the more I realized none of us were as alone as we thought we were.
I remember thinking, there has to be a better way.
I wasn’t looking to build a community.
I was simply looking for my people.
So instead of waiting for the community I hoped to find, I started inviting women together. What began as small gatherings around a table quickly grew into something I never imagined. Friendships formed. Businesses collaborated. Charities were supported. Women found authentic friendships, renewed confidence, new opportunities, and a place where they could simply be themselves.
That’s when I realized it was never just about hosting events. It was about creating a space where women could stop pretending, show up exactly as they are, and know they belonged. A place where collaboration mattered more than competition, where we celebrated each other’s wins, and where there was always room for one more woman at the table.
When my previous organization closed, I knew the mission wasn’t finished. She Connects is the next chapter — my own table, built with intention, where every woman is welcome.
Today, She Connects is a place where women can find authentic friendships, trusted resources, meaningful conversations, and opportunities to grow — because none of us were meant to do life alone.
Faith is part of my story and my values — not as something I preach, but as something I try to live. It quietly shapes how I love people, serve my community, and hope every woman leaves feeling a little more seen than when she arrived.
I’m not a doctor, a therapist, or a life coach. I’m simply a woman who believes that when women truly connect, incredible things happen.

Faith
If you have spent any time around me, you know my faith is not just part of my story—it is the foundation of it.
God has carried me through seasons of joy, heartbreak, uncertainty, and incredible growth. Looking back, I can see His faithfulness in every chapter. She Connects is simply the result of His calling on my life to create spaces where women feel seen, valued, and connected.
Whether faith is central to your life, something you are curious about, or not part of your journey at all, you are welcome here. My hope is that every woman who spends time here leaves feeling a little more loved, a little more hopeful, and reminded that there is always room for her at the table.

Giving Back
Every She Connects event supports a local charity whenever I can make it happen. Giving back isn’t an afterthought—it’s part of who I am.
I believe we are blessed so we can be a blessing to others. Whether it is raising money, shining a light on an incredible cause, or simply bringing people together to make a difference, serving our community will always be woven into the heart of She Connects.
Collaboration
I have never believed life was meant to be a competition.
There is room for everyone at the table, and when one woman succeeds, we all have something to celebrate. Some of the most meaningful friendships, businesses, and opportunities have grown simply because one woman introduced another.
That is the kind of community I am committed to building.
